Every year, I tell myself that this year, this year I’m gonna get out and take advantage of everything Vancouver has to offer. I’m gonna hit every beach, follow every trail, visit every attraction, finally see a Bard on the Beach show, and maybe even ride a roller coaster.
Okay, that could be a slightly ambitious summer bucket list, but this year, I’m really excited that it’s gonna happen. And it’s not going to cost me a million dollars. Wanna know my secret?
I got Kidsworld Summer passes for my girls!
We’ve had Kidsworld passes for the past year. We’ve been to some fantastic events over the past year, from tobogganing on Mount Seymour to milking cows at the Eco-Dairy to cheering the
Edmonton Oilers Vancouver Canucks to victory. We’ve revisited favourite places like Capilano Suspension Bridge with our Kidsworld passes, and discovered new places like the Richmond Olympic Oval.
We haven’t made it to every Kidsworld weekend event, but we’ve often planned our weekend around what that Kidsworld event was. It’s been a great way to take in all that Vancouver has to offer. And the Kidsworld summer passes promise just as much fun! There’s a special Kidsworld event for every day of July and August. That’s a whole lot of fun—and a whole lot of savings!
Kidsworld summer passes are just $50 per child, but offer over $1000 in value. There’s even a Bard on the Beach day for the kids! The passes are for children ages 4 to 12, although we took Jade along with us for many events last year (while she was 3). This summer, I have passes for the three older girls, ages 9 through 4.
Just a few of the amazing events on the calendar this summer include:
- July 1—6 Pack Indoor Beach Bash Party!
- July 7—Harbour Cruise downtown
- July 17—West Coast Railway in Squamish
- July 31—Maplewood Farm
- August 2—Honeybee Centre
- August 7—Stanley Park Train
- August 15—Watermania
- August 21—Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre
- August 27—Taves Family Farm
Drop by the Kidsworld website to view the entire summer schedule and buy your passes. Hurry—passes are already 85% sold out!
I received complimentary Kidsworld summer passes for my daughters in exchange for this post; all opinions expressed are my own.
