Our Fun Pregnancy Announcement for Baby #3

Baby #3 is due to arrive in our household sometime around March 1, 2013.  That means I’m officially into the second trimester—16 weeks pregnant—which is the longest we’ve waited to make a pregnancy announcement.  We wanted to tell our family and friends in person when we were back in Alberta at the end of August, so I managed not to spill the news to anyone (except my neighbour) until then.

A Fun Pregnancy Announcement…

I wanted a creative way to announce this baby’s arrival.  Shortly after I found out I was pregnant, I saw another blogger showing off some cute T-shirts.  I began browsing for similar products and quickly fell in love with Just Jen’s custom rhinestone fashions.  Sunshine usually likes way more sparkle than I do, but I thought the rhinestones looked great on these shirts.

I ordered T-shirts for my daughters using the website’s custom order form and then emailed Just Jen to get a T-shirt for myself.  My daughter’s T-shirts arrived at Grandma’s place shortly after we did, so our girls were able to show off their new shirts—and their news—as we traveled around Alberta.

Most of our friends took one glance at their shirts and then looked up at us, and a nod and a smile was all that was needed to confirm our pregnancy announcement.  The girls loved the sparkles on their T-shirts and also liked bragging that they’re going to be big sisters soon.

Awesome Rhinestone T-shirts

My T-shirt was waiting in the mail for me when I got home, and after seeing the girls’ shirts in Alberta, I was super excited to get my own.  The T-shirt is nice, thick material, super comfortable and I have to say, I like the sparkle as much as my girls do.  I picked aquamarine rhinestones for my shirt because that’s my birth stone and will be the baby’s birth stone too (assuming he or she doesn’t arrive early).

I can guarantee that you won’t find T-shirts like this anywhere else… I looked in every baby store in Victoria for a T-shirt that said “I’m going to be a big sister” because I thought I’d run out of time to order it online, but nobody around here had shirts like that.  Thankfully, even with shipping from the States to Canada, I got the girls’ T-shirts within two weeks of when I ordered them.

More about JustJen

JustJen has tons of other cool products, including more stuff for big sisters, moms-to-be and brides.  Their website was super easy to use, even to customize Sunshine’s T-shirt (which I wanted to say “I’m going to be a big sister again“).  Thanks, JustJen, for a super fun way to announce Baby#3!

I purchased the girls’ T-shirts and received my shirt for review from JustJen.
